Since 2013, IA has helped Rapid7 scale a global workplace portfolio without losing the cybersecurity company’s audacious culture. A repeatable framework supports growth, operational consistency, and faster delivery across Boston, Arlington, Austin, Belfast, Dublin, Los Angeles, Reading, Toronto, and beyond, while giving each location room to feel genuinely local.

Global Standards Stay Locally Expressive
The “Audacious Workplace” concept balances the creative disruption of a technology company with the confidence of a professional-services organization. IA studied the habits of sales, IT, marketing, development, research, and other teams, then translated them into neighborhood planning, activity-based settings, and universal desk types. Assigned neighborhoods provide a home base, while huddle “cages,” collaborative settings, and heads-down spaces offer alternate modes close by. More active groups are separated from work requiring sustained concentration, giving each team a local rhythm inside the global system.

Culture Evolves Across the Portfolio
Rapid7’s One Moose mascot carries culture across the portfolio. Because “moose” is both singular and plural, it becomes shorthand for individual contribution and collective achievement. Elevator-lobby murals place the character among local landmarks, allowing the same idea to arrive with a different accent in every city. Industrial cues and flexible graphics reinforce the company’s energy without prescribing one fixed aesthetic. A core IA team works with local studios and partners, combining regional knowledge with continuity. The standards evolve through use rather than remaining frozen in a manual, giving Rapid7 a workplace system that supports faster decisions, recognizable culture, and meaningful local expression as the company enters new markets.
