Sector

Consumer Product

Papa Johns’ headquarters at The Battery Atlanta uses the making of pizza to strengthen culture and keep product innovation close to everyday work. Across 60,000 square feet, abstracted references to dough, pans, ovens, and slices create an inclusive workplace where teams can connect, experiment, and advance the brand’s renewed “Pizza Love.”

Pizza Love Shapes the Workplace
Exposed concrete, beams, and columns suggest the structural base of dough. Carpet and wallcovering add soft layers; metal mesh over backlit wood recalls pizza pans; brick veneer nods to the oven. Mushroom-shaped ottomans, saturated graphics, and organic furnishings bring play without tipping into novelty. The narrative changes by floor. The 10th explores mixing, shaping, and the science of cooking. The 11th moves into cutting, folding, symmetry, and transformation. A monumental stair connects the chapters, making the process part of the daily journey.

"Two hundred Papa Johns team members now enjoy working together at The Battery Atlanta, in a space that beautifully expresses the Papa Johns culture – open, collaborative, modern – and, importantly, fun.”

Vice President of Design, Construction & Facilities, Papa Johns

Product Innovation Stays Visible
Product innovation is placed in full view through an exposed test kitchen and a “restaurant of the future” with the atmosphere of a refined Italian dining room. A social-media response zone brings real-time customer conversation into the workplace, connecting experimentation inside with the world beyond. Work areas are organized into “sliced” zones, with focus rooms, team rooms, and open collaboration at the floorplate corners. Private offices move to the core so daylight and panoramic views can be shared more widely, while operable walls let large rooms divide or combine. Spirited without becoming themed, the headquarters gives Papa Johns a practical platform for testing ideas, sharing feedback, and moving innovation closer to the kitchen.
