Logitech’s San Jose relocation turns a smaller footprint into a more fluid workplace for mobility and innovation. Free-address neighborhoods, flexible settings, and centralized laboratories improve how space performs, while product storytelling, warm materials, and locally commissioned art connect employees and visitors to the technology company’s portfolio and creative community.

Mobility Makes the Footprint Perform
Reducing assigned desks allowed Logitech to use its footprint more effectively while giving employees greater choice. Work neighborhoods sit along the perimeter, opening access to daylight and views. High-backed chairs, communal tables, booths, and collaboration zones support focus and exchange, while enclosed pods provide nearby privacy. Research and development laboratories are concentrated at the core, bringing technical functions together without separating them from the wider workplace. The planning creates a clear relationship between experimentation and everyday collaboration. IA’s approach allows a smaller office to support more modes of work, reflecting Logitech’s culture of quality, movement, and refinement in both products and workplace experience.

Local Culture Enriches Arrival
Horizontal wood planks wrap the entry lobby, creating a grounded first impression and a recognizable center. A lounge and pantry combine banquettes, booths, movable seating, and a town hall setting for gatherings at different scales. Across the lobby, a client-facing display presents Logitech’s home, office, gaming, and learning products within one curated experience. Commissioned artwork and graffiti by local artists and graphic designers add perspective, connecting the global brand to San Jose’s creative community. Arrival becomes informative, social, and locally relevant rather than ceremonial. The space gives employees and visitors an immediate understanding of Logitech’s portfolio while leaving the workplace flexible enough to evolve.
