Lockton’s simultaneous Dallas and Plano relocations advance a shared workplace vision across 110,000 square feet. IA translated “The New Horizon” into two distinct regional expressions, replacing long-static, hierarchical offices with more equitable planning, stronger amenities, and greater choice while giving both locations a recognizable organizational identity.
Shared Principles, Distinct Texas Settings
Layered ceilings trace shifting horizon lines, soft curves guide circulation, and indirect light creates a calm sense of progression. Light wood, marble-look tile, metal, sculptural fixtures, and refined millwork connect the two workplaces without making them identical. At Victory Commons, exposed structure, concrete, black brick, metal mesh, and darker accents respond to downtown Dallas with warm industrial character. Granite Park interprets the same language through plaster, brass, lighter finishes, and fluid forms suited to expansive Plano views. IA’s shared principles create consistency at the brand and employee-experience level, while material and architectural differences give each office credibility within its specific setting.
Equity Reshapes the Workday
Standardized offices and workstations replace oversized, hierarchical settings with more equitable space allocation. Lower panels open sightlines and carry daylight deeper into the floor. Booths, standing-height tables, lounges, and touchdown areas give employees more ways to focus and collaborate. Large amenity hubs support meals, learning, socializing, and events, replacing isolated pantries that reinforced separation. Interconnecting stairs unite floors, while operable partitions allow training and gathering spaces to expand. Wellness rooms, acoustic treatments, accessible amenities, and privacy measures support varied needs. The transformation changes more than appearance: it gives employees greater agency and helps Lockton use both workplaces as connected platforms for culture and growth.
