Sector

Consumer Product

Helly Hansen’s first North American headquarters consolidates a dispersed U.S. team in Denver while drawing from nearly 150 years of Norwegian performance and ingenuity. IA created a flexible workplace and product environment that strengthens culture, supports merchandising, and gives the growing organization a clear regional home without relying on passing workplace trends.

Heritage Meets North American Growth
Scandinavian functionality and restraint establish the workplace foundation. Warm neutrals, tactile finishes, and varied carpet patterns keep the minimal palette from feeling flat, while precise flashes of Helly Hansen red bring the brand into focus. Open and enclosed settings allow an active workforce to move between concentration, conversation, and shared work. The plan is flexible, but its purpose is organizational: rebuilding everyday relationships that were difficult to sustain when employees were spread across locations and working remotely. By grounding the new headquarters in durable brand principles rather than novelty, IA gave the U.S. team an environment that supports immediate consolidation and future growth.

The Showroom Supports Product Work
A multifunctional showroom sits at the center of the business, supporting merchandising development and allowing teams to test apparel before it reaches the market. Operable divisions let several meetings occur simultaneously, then open for larger reviews, presentations, and hands-on product work. A dedicated lounge gives company traditions and milestones a consistent home, strengthening North American culture beyond formal meetings. The headquarters draws from clarity, performance, adaptability, and respect for the elements—qualities shared by the workplace and the products developed within it. Norwegian heritage gives the environment discipline; Denver adds a more relaxed regional energy and a platform for the company’s next phase of growth.
