Gupta Media’s Boston headquarters gives a creative company distinct destinations for concentration, collaboration, and culture. A piano lounge, café beneath a sculptural tree canopy, library with a golf simulator, and music- and sports-inspired meeting rooms create reasons to work together while protecting the focused settings required for media strategy and production.

Creative Culture Gains Destinations
The “Refreshed Classic” concept pairs traditional materials with unexpected forms in a workplace designed to support in-person energy. Dedicated desks and a high proportion of enclosed offices protect concentrated work, while shared destinations create opportunities for exchange and reset. The Piano Lounge carries forward a memory from Gupta’s former headquarters, where a piano greeted visitors. Nearby, the café and town hall gather around a central tree whose canopy extends overhead as sculptural architecture. These spaces make culture tangible without turning every room into a brand statement. Employees gain a varied environment that supports serious creative work as well as the relationships that sustain it.

"We challenged IA to build Gupta Media a home, not just an office. From the beginning, they approached the project through that lens, and in the end, they designed a space that is both, and the best of, an office and a home.”

Memory and Music Shape Community
The “Now Playing” lounge combines a library and golf simulator, giving employees a setting that can shift between quiet use and social activity. Conference rooms carry understated festival and sports references, while acoustic panels and dimensional ceilings improve performance and add visual depth. At arrival, Gupta’s elephant mark appears through chamfered forms and bespoke materials rather than conventional signage. Each destination supports a different mode: focus, listen, meet, play, present, or gather. Sound, material, memory, and movement are carefully composed into a workplace that remains adaptable. The headquarters strengthens in-person exchange while giving the company’s creative identity room to evolve.
