Fleurish is a bespoke, evolving installation that fosters human connection through participatory art. Each iteration invites people to contribute, shaping the artwork in real-time and transforming it into a reflection of collective identity and shared purpose. Unlike traditional static artworks, Fleurish is designed to grow and change, ensuring that no two installations are ever the same.

"Fleurishing" Communities

Its first iteration celebrated IA’s 40th anniversary. Die-cut flowers served as a distinctive community-building activity. Participants were invited to select a flower and inscribe a message reflecting how they personally contribute to the 'fleurishing' of their community. This interactive initiative highlighted IA’s focus on fostering meaningful connections and celebrating collective growth.

An Installation Tailored to Its Surroundings

The thousands of flowers were gathered and “planted” into a field of reflective pods. The resulting installation offers an immersive experience , allowing viewers to stroll through the field and be inspired by individual contributions made to communities all over the world. Fleurish is highly adaptable—while IA's version incorporated flowers, the concept is not tied to a specific shape or material. Each installation is tailored to its surroundings, using diverse elements like layered colors, organic forms, or kinetic components to symbolize both individuality and unity within a larger whole. Fleurish seamlessly integrates into its environment while remaining deeply personal to its participants.
