Thirty-six floors above Singapore’s central business district, this global capital-markets workplace uses local identity to strengthen confidence, belonging, and client trust. IA drew from harbor light, rain-darkened streets, woven craft, and the Garden City, creating an environment that supports focused financial work while connecting a global organization more meaningfully to place.

Singapore Informs the Workplace
At the café, colored light scatters across a wall graphic and radiating carpet like reflections on water. Paver-like flooring recalls streets after rain, while woven pendants, blue stools, mosaic tile, and a perforated cloud ceiling introduce regional texture. Planting extends through collaborative and focused areas, bringing the city’s lush landscape indoors and softening the technical character associated with financial work. The references remain abstract rather than thematic, giving the office a specific atmosphere without compromising professionalism. By translating familiar local conditions into material, light, and pattern, IA created a workplace that feels credible within a global portfolio and meaningful to the people who use it daily.

Local Craft Humanizes Standards
A disciplined global framework provides the operational foundation; local craft gives that framework relevance. Shared spaces support conversation, informal work, and hospitality alongside the focused settings required by a capital-markets team. Natural texture and biophilia moderate the intensity of screen-based work, while clear planning and a restrained palette preserve visual order. This balance helps the workplace serve two audiences at once: employees who need concentration and belonging, and clients who expect confidence and care. The Singapore office demonstrates how a consistent corporate standard can travel without becoming anonymous, strengthening culture and brand through design choices rooted in the market rather than applied as decoration.
