Restaurant Pilot and Roll-out

Sector

Consumer Product

This fast-casual retailer’s Eco Concept Pilot turns a smaller footprint into a more efficient, repeatable restaurant model. A focused dining room, streamlined digital pickup, and a restrained palette of lower-impact materials align operations, construction, and guest experience—creating a format designed to scale without losing the warmth and familiarity of the brand.

Smaller Footprint, Smarter Flow
The dining room is compact and focused, supported by a drive-through, outdoor seating, and an optimized mobile-order pickup zone. Clear circulation allows in-person and digital journeys to work alongside one another, supporting efficient service without making either experience feel secondary.

Warm wood meets metal, while gestural line drawings, red table legs, and simple Scraplight pendants bring rhythm and character. The restrained palette keeps food, service, and people in the foreground, expressing the brand through material and atmosphere rather than excessive signage or detail.

Materials Made to Work Harder
Environmental responsibility and economy are approached as part of the same design strategy. Locally available construction materials support cost and schedule, while rice-straw MDF, recycled-wood-fiber panels, and PaperStone tabletops introduce lower-impact materials into demanding, high-use applications.

Selections balance material origin with durability and performance. Simplified junctions and fewer unnecessary transitions create a repeatable kit of parts, while organic texture keeps the prototype from feeling generic.

The result is a practical model for growth. Operations, digital pickup, construction, and material choices work together to streamline delivery and support long-term performance—allowing the restaurant to scale efficiently without sacrificing warmth, brand character, or environmental responsibility.
