Retail From the Ground Up
Over the years, partnering with retail clients to design and roll out new prototypes, as well as unique facilities, we have frequently been asked to build on our experience to include the design of new, ground-up buildings. Working with retail clients whose success requires the design and rapid deployment of efficient, cost-effective, standalone facilities at numerous locations, IA has designed buildings that express their brand aesthetics and persona.
To date, IA has designed hundreds of ground-up structures, including exterior landscaping, as well as providing the design of interiors, specifically for financial services clients and popular food and beverage purveyors. On average, IA has delivered 20-25 new building projects over the last five years.
Leveraging our expertise in prototype design has led to tighter delivery in terms of quality and timelines. Rapid problem-solving distinguishes our design process, recently exemplified when a client shared plans for a proposed structure, and we immediately noted a 90-degree rotation would enhance the user experience and bring in greater natural light. In addition, our use of modular construction systems, scaled and individualized for each location, has substantially benefited prototype rollouts.
